The plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico is the central locations for cultural events during festivals and holidays that celebrate the diversity of culture and tradition in this ancient capital city. For decades a temporary bandstand was set up as a performance stage. When the City decided to replace the temporary bandstand with a permanent structure, the architect recommended that the platform be made with naturally durable hardwood decking from FSC® certified forests. Massaranduba was chosen for it rich dark red color and durability.
